Sunir A. Shukkoor

An affable individual with a heart-warming personality, Sunir brings with him enriching and varied experiences.  He comes well-armed with many years of successful business experience in both the public and private sectors, from front-line to executive level to managerial positions in the administration, sales and marketing, customer service and events consultancy line. His previous appointment was with an established event management firm, where Sunir was the Principal Event Consultant.  Major projects under his care which garnered immense publicity include the Rotary International Convention, the Korea/Japan World Cup 2002 Great Kickoff @ The Padang, and the Asia Pacific Life Insurance Congress.  He is also accredited for initiating and running non-profit organisations like Rotaract Club of Singapore North, Camp Rainbow Singapore and the Official Liverpool Fan Club (Singapore).

His last appointment was with a reputable training consultancy, where he headed its Business Growth division. It was here that he honed his skills as a trainer/facilitator, clocking many hours and experience conducting programmes for schools and corporations. He was also instrumental for conceptualising an online Customer Service training and development portal for the Asia-Pacific subsidiaries, for Samsung.

Sunir is meticulous and has a keen eye for detail.  This is quintessential as his role as an event consultant and a trainer requires him to design, plan, implement and facilitate countless events and programmes for many organisations.  No stranger to taking centre stage when the need arises, Sunir has carefully honed his delivery skills with eleven years of experience as a Master of Ceremonies.  His humour and wisdom possess universal appeal, and he is gifted with the ability to deliver the perfect mix of hysterical humour, honest insight, real-world skills, and inspirational challenges to his audience.

Sunir has given his heart to charity by indulging in community work via various non-profit societies for the past 30 years.  Meeting and working with varied personalities from all walks of life has helped him cultivate a knack of altering his delivery style to suit his audiences.  His presentations are the perfect blend of education and entertainment; his audiences listen, laugh, and learn!
